Trunk or Treat

October 28, 2009 - Annual Trunk or Treat at church. The kids played games, had a pumpkin contest in which Ryan won one of four categories. His pumpkin was an alien and he got "most scariest". His prize was a large candy bar. He was quite happy that he won. He brought his friend David to the event. Collin had fun playing the games. Afterwards they went trunk or treating, which is going around to the different cars (their trunks) trick or treating. It is always fun. Here are 8 pictures, but one is of Raygunn and Taisin.

Halloween Party at the Y

Saturday, October 24, 2009 - Ryan and Collin went to a Halloween Party at the Y. There were games to play, food to eat, crafts to do and even a haunted house (which was too scary for the kids). They had fun doing all the activities and things. Instead of posting all of the pictures, I picked out a few.

October 17, 2009 - Ryan's game was this morning and thank goodness there was some sun shinning down to take the chill off. Collin's game was last night. Needless to say, even with blankets, we were freezing. Try taking pictures when your fingers are frostbit. The cold didn't bother them though. The boys love to play soccer. Collin is the one with the camouflage jacket under the orange.

October 11, 2009 - Ryan and Collin were over for a little while after church.

Diary of a Wimpy Kid Party

October 12, 2009 - Ryan and I went to a party at Barnes & Noble today. It was a Diary of a Wimpy Kid Party, promoting book 4 "Dog Days". There were games to play such as Diary of a Wimpy Kid trivia regarding the first three books. At the end there were refreshments. Ryan really loves these books and usually reads them in a day or day and a half. I am so glad that he loves reading. There was a drawing to win a giant wimpy kid, a small wimpy kid (both made of cardboard), a free wimpy kid book 4, or a wimpy kid t-shirt. Needless to say, we didn't win, but what was important was the fun Ryan had and that he got his book 4 which we have been waiting for months for. Here are some pictures from the party.

October 10, 2009 - Ryan's soccer game was at 10:00 this morning. Had rained in the morning but stopped by the beginning of the game. Here are some highlights of Ryan's game. Good job Ryan!

Collin's Soccer Game

Friday, October 9, 2009 - I finally got to go to one of Collin's soccer games. Last week it was cancelled due to the down pour we had. This week it was dark, cold (cold enough for a winter jacket), and it had rained all day and was drizzling during the game. Couldn't take a lot of pictures due to the darkness. Collin got the first goal. Here are some scenes from that game, but most of them are the drills before hand.
