This week at Gramma's

December 31, 2009 - Ryan and Collin spent some time here this week and we played some fun things. Ryan likes to play the card game "war" and "Uncle Wiggly". Can you remember that game? It is from the old days when I was a kid. Collin likes playing with the Army men and whatever toys he brings over. He likes "war" too and beats me every time. Here are 8 pictures to see.

Christmas Afternoon at Gramma's!

December 25, 2009 - Ryan and Collin got up at about 7:10 a.m. Christmas morning at their house. They came down stairs and were amazed once again this year at all the presents under the tree. They had a lot of fun opening them all and oooing and ahing over the things they got. In the afternoon they came to my house for more presents, a surprise bedroom and dinner. The Nativity

December 13, 2009 - Tonight the primary performed the nativity. Collin is on the far left and Ryan is fourth from the left of the group picture. They were both shepherds. Below are 8 pictures.

December 12, 2009 - The boys got to see Santa today and enjoyed a hotdog, macaroni and cheese, a fruit cup and soda. Santa gave them each something too. Here are some pictures.

Christmas Chains

November 27, 2009 - Ryan and Collin spent the night last night and this morning we made the chains that you take off one a day until Christmas. Each one designed their own topping for the chain.

Merry Christmas Alex

November 15, 2009 - Not a day goes by that I don't think of you Alex. When the stars are out I look for the brightest star and I call that my "Alex" star. I know that you are doing the Lord's work and that you are preparing the way for us. Your time on earth was so short and we all miss you so much. I know your mom misses you lots and sometimes she sees you in Adrian. I really believe you and Adrian still have a bond between you. We know this life here on earth is so short compared to the eternities and I know that someday we will all be together again. Watch over your mom Alex. She really needs to feel your gentle hand touch hers. I know this is kind of early, but Merry Christmas Alex. You are greatly missed and always in our minds and hearts. Christmas will soon be here

November 13, 2009 - wow, today is Friday the 13th! Well, I am in the Christmas mode now. Here are some pictures of Collin and Ryan (with their Webkins), and then my tree finally decorated in red. Collin said next year it has to all be in green and the year after, red and green together.

Trunk or Treat

October 28, 2009 - Annual Trunk or Treat at church. The kids played games, had a pumpkin contest in which Ryan won one of four categories. His pumpkin was an alien and he got "most scariest". His prize was a large candy bar. He was quite happy that he won. He brought his friend David to the event. Collin had fun playing the games. Afterwards they went trunk or treating, which is going around to the different cars (their trunks) trick or treating. It is always fun. Here are 8 pictures, but one is of Raygunn and Taisin.
