March 23, 2009 - On February 28th, with the help of Bishop Deutschman, Brother Blanch, Brother Couzelis, Brother Koehler, George and Donna Donahue, Shawn, Mindy, Ryan and Collin Donahue, I was able to start moving into my new apartment in Liverpool. I couldn't have done it without them. And thanks to Mindy for all of her extra help in getting my apartment in order. I have a two bedroom, one and a half bath, dining area, living room, and gally kitchen. The laundry facilities and mailroom are on the same floor. I love the apartment and keep downsizing my stuff because I have too much "stuff". If I get rid of it all now, when I die, my kids won't have to be troubled with so much "stuff". I am just so grateful to be able to finally have my own place, as this will be the final place I ever move to.
I want to thank Mindy and Shawn and Donna and George for letting me stay with them for almost 2 years. You will never know how much I appreciated that time. (Donna, I miss your cooking) and thanks for all of the Family Home Evenings we had. Good times. Ryan and Collin like coming to my new house to play games, eat popcorn, watch movies and spend the night. I want them to have the same fond memories as I do of staying with my grandparents when I was growing up. They were the best times of my life.
